Dazzling Universal Studios Japan

The place was over crowded when we went here last Sunday. Since it was on a weekend, it was apparent that every major attraction of the park was in long queue. 

What we really wanted to experience, the first on our list, was the Amazing Adventure of Spiderman 4D, to do that, we have to sacrifice almost 2 hours of our time (that is, if we're lucky!) and we can't afford that much waiting time on our schedule. Our schedule is only for a day. Yes, a day, tight and on the budget. That's why every minute counts.

After my son went bananas over Minions, popcorn and laser gun, we went to the Universal Wonderland. This attraction is highly recommended for families with children. The Elmo's Imagination Playland is ideal for kids under 5 years of age, and for parents who want to take a break from their overzealous child. The space is warm! They have restaurants and play area. Parents can sit and relax while watching their kids play. As for me, this place was a haven especially when you have an uber-active child like mine.

The main attraction, the Gift of Angels, is one of the attractions we have been waiting for. The show encases world-class entertainment with mid-air presentations and special effects. One of the gazillion reasons why we want to spend our Christmas in this wonderful and happy place. It was indeed a spectacular event to reckon! What made it more special was the highly illuminated Christmas tree, which holds the Guinness World Record as having the most lights. It was the most dazzling Christmas tree we've ever seen! It was intoxicating, so to speak.

One day is utterly not enough to enjoy all the attractions and entertainment of this park. However, at the end of the day, the most important thing is we were together as a family, having fun and making memories. This is what Christmas is about after all -- FAMILY.

You need to buy a special ticket to get a closer view of the presentation but I guess it would be wiser to have a view from afar. You cannot really appreciate the holographic projection when you are too close to the stage. However, you still need to come early to get the best spot though. 

Take a break in this imagination Play Land.  Parents can rest and dine while their kids are playing. 

Elmo's Little Drive. At the back, we were cheering to our little man to step on the accelerator but it seems he was too overwhelmed by the cars around him.
